Iodine Survey
The Spotted Dog Oil field, section 10, is a J sand structure. The crest of the
steep structure coinciding with the strong anomaly on the NE edge of the field.
All three wells south of the field are injectors. Section 11 has three new wells
drilled after the survey. The dry hole in the NE and the gas well just north of it.
This well produced an average of 3 mcf/day and is near a small anomaly. The
gas well to the west, which is in a much better location from a geochemical
standpoint, is a much better well and has averaged 100 mcf/day. The gas well
to the east of section 12 was drilled in 2002 and makes about 6 mcf/day.
