A bit of a stretch to call this "New Stuff" because this survey is almost 20 years old, but the map of the
morrow channel interpretation, to the right, was recently discovered in a 2004 paper published by Dr.
Victor T. Jones. The three colors represent three successive morrow channels. The brown is V7b, grey
is V7c and pink is V7d. The anomaly most closely matchs the V7c channel and in the south and center
of the survey occurs mainly on the regionally high side of the channel. This survey, although the sample
coverage can best be described as spotty, would have been a very effective guide to successful
development drilling.
